I recently purchased a 25-plate Audi A4 from Audi Hereford and, unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations. Communication throughout the process was poor, and the way the sale was handled by senior staff was unprofessional - including a comment made about the deal being "loss-making" and an attempt to unwind the transaction altogether due to this.
When the car was eventually released, it was supplied without floor mats, which shouldn't happen on a brand new Audi. Despite being told they would be sent, weeks later I'm still waiting for them to arrive.
To make matters worse, it's almost impossible to contact the dealership directly, all calls are routed through a central "virtual" reception, they then have to request the dealer call you back, if you miss that call you have to start the process over again which simply wastes everyone’s time! Having since read other customer reviews, it's clear I'm not the only one experiencing these issues. Vertu Motor Group really needs to review its customer service processes and dealership management to ensure buyers are treated with the professionalism and care expected from a premium brand.
